Kazimierz Jankowski creates work that explores the idea of fiction as something that informs and sustains our experience of social reality. Working in a diverse range of media including installation, sculpture, video, drawing and sound, Jankowski’s works are attempts to condense complex ideas by way of formal experimentation into ambient spaces, time based events and sculptural works in which the viewer plays an essential role.
Through a distinctly light and ephemeral style, Jankowski generates narratives of his own making in the form of sculptures, video works and events that overlap and engage with art history and other cultural moments of inspiration. His work may be described as a series of conversations or dialogues with other writers, philosophers, artists and crucially with the viewer to whom many of the works ambiguously address.
Kaz created Kenneth Anger - The Films - Pt.2 and was part of MY KINGDOM.
