Space In Between hosted an evening of films by the American filmmaker Kenneth Anger, which were presented by artist Kazimierz Jankowski.
For Kenneth Anger pt.2 Jankowski selected four of Angers films to be screened (Fireworks - 1947, Eaux d’Artifice - 1953, Scorpio Rising - 1963 and Kustom Kar Kommandos - 1965), alongside which Jankowski produced a poster and reproduced and early essay written by Anger (Modesty and the Art of Filmmaking- 1951). In presenting Kenneth Anger’s films and written work Jankowski was sensitive to the gallery space as a setting that is subtly theatrical in itself. Jankowski decided to call the event ‘part 2’, with part 1 being the project to come.
